 Nice addition to other Playmobil setsFeb 15, 2011

My five year old has loved playing with these as horses for her doll house residents. The only trouble we've had with them is we had trouble fitting one of the dolls onto the horses back at first. We were able to resolve it but it wasn't something she could do herself.

MY GRANDDAUGHTER HAS SEVERAL OF THE PLAYMOBILE PIECES BUT NEEDED EVEN MORE HORSES SO SHE TOLD ME. SHE REALLY ENJOYS PLAYING WITH ALL OF THE VARIOUS PIECES TO THIS SET. THE SHIPPING IS WONDERFUL, NO FIGHTING THE CROWDS AT THE MALLS (YOU DO KNOW HOW BUSY THE TOY ISLE IS AT CHRISTMAS??) THIS WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR ME!

we are into the knight stuff, but we really needed more horses. i think these are part of a western theme, but they are just the ticket. now more knights can ride against evil queens and dragons to save the princess--how fun is that?!

I bought the "Playmobil Three Horses" from Depot Toys as a Christmas gift for my niece, who loves Playmobil and really wanted more horses.
I'm sure she was happy with the gift, but the product came in a simple plastic bag, not in a box. I was a little embarrassed giving it as a gift because it truly was just three little plastic horses in a plastic bag, so it really didn't make a good impression at all. I know some will say that packaging shouldn't be that big of a factor when rating the product, but when giving it as a gift, I'd like it to look a little nicer. If I were buying this for my own children and not as a gift for someone else, I'd probably feel a little differently about this. Yet, the total price ended up being over $21 (including shipping), and I thought $7 per little plastic horse was more than what it was worth.
I think if I ever buy Playmobil again, I'd probably buy it somewhere in person so that I can see exactly what I'm getting. Nevertheless, I'm sure my niece likes the horses because she's really into this brand (for some reason I truly don't understand).
