I bought this set a year ago for my daughter's first birthday. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it. The parts are made in Europe. They are made of sturdy high quality plastic. The colors are nice and the shapes are cute. My daughter liked it. The school children that come to our playground liked it too. They took most of the pieces when I was busy chasing my daughter. They never returned them. Now we only have the shovel. I am considering buying another set.
