Grows up with the kidsJul 17, 2010 We bought this, with train table, 16 years ago. Once the boys grew out of the trains, it became our family room coffee table and held video game accessories and movies. My 17 year old jumped on it to get away from his brother and the table finally gave out. We now use the drawer under a bed and it is so perfect I was looking to buy 2 more. This drawer does NOT show it's age. The table probably could have been easily fixed, but we really were done with it. I would definitely recommend this.
Kidkraft Train TrundleJun 03, 2010 I bought the Honey Train Trundle for our new Train Table, also by Kidkraft. The trundles are very roomy and provide a lot of needed extra storage. They are also easy to pull out and glide nicely, even on carpet.

did not fit under the KidKraft train table that I orderedDec 05, 2009 On amazon this said that it went with the KidKraft train table I ordered but it doesn't come close to fitting under then table. It looks like a nice drawer but the whole point was for it to roll UNDER the table!
Very large and very durableSep 16, 2009 Great addition to my son's train table. Keeps all the trains and other toys in order. Very good construction and the casters are easy enough for my 3 year old to move the drawer by himself.

These drawers are HUGEJan 30, 2009 I'd read other reviews talking about the size of these trundle drawers, but without perspective it didn't mean much to me. So, let me say that my two year old son frequently climbs into a drawer and crawls under the train table. He can lie completely inside a drawer and his twin brother can close him up. If I smushed them a bit, I could fit both boys in one drawer.
Assembly was very straightforward and easy. The bottom panel is wood like the sides, rather than crummy particle board. It is also finished like the sides so the drawers look nice, open and closed. The cutouts, front and back, prevent the smashing of little fingers. The casters work an thick carpet. I wish they'd included a wooden handle, because I'm not fond of the rope, but they're not really my drawers and the boys don't care.
I rated these drawers 4 stars for educational value. I said this because the boys LOVE rolling the drawers in and out. This makes it fun for them to roll the drawers out to put away their trains, tracks, and other toys. The size of the drawers makes it easy for them to store their things after play and we can enforce some loose organization of items, by color or size or type.
