Darda cars for Darda tracksSep 03, 2010
By Ian D Smith My 6 year old son and I tripped across a Darda track set at a second hand store a couple of weeks ago. The track set was in really good condition but it was missing the cars. This prompted our research into the world of Darda.
We ordered the NASCAR Dupont and Amp Twin Pack the next day. These cars do exactly what they are designed to do. Go up and around the Darda race tracks. These have brought both my son I and a great deal of joy building different track configurations and speeding the cars around them.
I really like that the engines are replaceable if they break or wear out. This is a pretty neat and rare feature to be able to fix a toy and not have to pitch the whole thing.
We'll definitely be getting more Darda cars and tracks!

Really fun toys, but track and vehicles can only be used with each other. Cars seem to be durable if you don't ever use them on the carpet. My son loves them.

I got these cars to go with our first race track- one works well, but the other fell apart 20 mins after we began playing. Very disappointing.

Darda cars not built to lastMar 22, 2010
By Jenna Dawn My son enjoyed the cars, but both of them fell apart less than 2 weeks after we received them. And of course he was heartbroken when they broke. On the package it says "not recommended for use on carpeted areas." What they mean, is that the cars will completely BREAK if you try to use them on a carpeted area. ONLY USE THEM ON HARDWOOD OR TILE FLOORS. Evidently he tried to wind the first car on the carpeted floor and it broke, so he tried the next one, which also broke.
I will not be wasting my money on any more Darda cars.
