I got this for my shamu loving 3 year old daughter last Christmas and it is by far the most played with toy we have at our home. She loves it and spends so much time using her little imagination playing with it.The best thing for me is I have it set up on the Kitchen floor so while I am cooking or cleaning she plays with it and isn't under foot.
The Details...
What I like most:
Dolphins can stand all by themselves on their tails to be fed at the side of the pool or to touch the ball.
Dolphins mouths open so they can hold a fish in them.
The swivel spot lights in the spectator area.
This set is much larger then I had anticipated so I felt I really got my money's worth with the amount of items included and the size.
Disappointments:
One of the pegs on the ladder accessory broke quickly (she doesn't play with that part of it much so wasn't a big deal)
I highly recommend this toy. I could spend hours playing with it myself :)

Playmobil often does a good job in offering educational toys, but this one sends the wrong message. In the 21st century, scientists have said that it is inhumane to keep marine mammals in captivity. By encouraging the misperception in children that captivity is okay, we are not only falsely educating them in science but also in ethics. Please tell Playmobil you'd like them to provide toys that carry correct educational information. Toys should not be teaching the wrong message.

My granddaughter loves dolphins and this Playmobil did not disappoint! Received it in plenty of time for her birthday. Good quality, but then it is Playmobil.

I bought this for my son's 6th birthday. It was a lot bigger than the Playmobil Zoo Penguins set we own! He loves Playmobil. I love that he plays with a toy where he uses his imagination and it does not require batteries! He is always wanting to play with it. If it weren't for his brother being 1 year old, he would get to play with it more.

I bought this item for my 4 year old grandson. He and his 2 year old brother played with it all weekend while I was there. It really held their interest. It was something they woke up in the morning and wanted to play with. Very durable and has a lot of good detail. They pretended it was Sea World. Highly recommend.
