Totally awesome toy!Oct 13, 2008
By L. El-Azem We got the Super Z Funride because I had a similar thing growing up 30+ years ago, only we called it "the monorail." It is every bit as fun as I remembered! It does take some strength to get the cable taut enough (we got the 90' model), but aside from that the installation went according to the directions and without trouble. We used a couple of lengths of slit hose to protect the tree bark from the cable, and screwed in a bolt 1" underneath the back of the cable to ensure that it wouldn't slip down. HOWEVER, the bolt does not seem necessary now that we've been using the Funride for a month. The cable stays put, as it should. We added a very fat, soft knotted rope (impossible to tangle or get caught in) with a big Jolly Ball at the end to sit on, so you don't have to hang like a monkey from the trolley AND it's easier to catch and tow back to the top. ONE IDEA: we found that we were hitting the end pretty forcefully, which could hasten the demise of the plastic trolley, but we didn't want to suck all the fun out if it by slowing the ride down too much. So, we slit and duct-taped a tennis ball around the landing end of the cable and blocked it from slipping with a cable clamp behind it. That does a nice job of softening the landing. Our 7 year old and his friends think it is super, super cool -- they play Indiana Jones and Commando and whoop it up every free second of the afternoon!

Lot's of fun for little kids and big 'kids'May 22, 2007
By P. B. White We've had the Super Z deluxe zip line in our backyard for almost a year now. I have a 2 year old and a 6 year old that use it quite often. I installed the zip line as directed, but also added a swing seat to the trolley so that the kids can ride in the swing instead of having to hang onto the trolley, which would've made it incompatible with their young age.
I've ridden the zip line countless times with my littlest one in my lap, as well as riding solo on the trolley myself. My run is only about 65 feet, but I like the fact that the unit is rated to 250 lbs!
As expected, it gets quite a bit of action when the kids have friends over. All in all, everything I expected.
Assembly went fairly quickly, but, as others, I had to increase the 'drop' so that we got a good ride. Tensioning the line wasn't a problem for me, though it did take some time to complete that procedure.

Great Zipline...even better with disk swing seat.Mar 16, 2011
By C. Hubele Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RXNDB1BQJI0XG See it in action. This is the 94 foot line with a Daisy Disk Seat for my five year old to use. Actually, the older kids like the seat too, as it easier on their hands than holding on to the hand grips.

Poor/Cheap quality - the plastic parts didn't last 5 months!Jun 17, 2008

This zipline has one major weakness - the plastic trolley will melt down within 5 months. You can get a more durable one for about the same price elsewhere. Don't buy this one.
Also, the seller Extextoys will have you call the manufacturer "Spring Swings" 1-800-893-4373 who will say that you are not using the zipline properly and blame you for the worn out trolley. Two different folks at Spring Swings said this. Unbelievable.

Well worth it...Aug 08, 2007
By Seamus I got this for my daughters (16, 15, and 11) and they love it. I have the long model (90 feet) and it stretches almost all the way across the back yard. Even the 16 year old goes on it when her friends come over. They seem to really like riding in the dark.
Installation worked well for me, but I already had a platform (a tree house project in the making) for the start and a perfectly placed tree at the other end. When it comes time to make the final connection, you'll need a couple of people to pull hard on the cable to be able to get it taut...
