Ciao, ItaliaMay 23, 2010
By Mommy madness My daughter recieved this doll for christmas. She is 8 years old. She played with it for a few months and then the leg fell off. I tried the company to see if they could repair it, but they said no. They do not repair dolls and would not even offer suggestions on how to go about repairing the dolls leg. After several emails, I still have a doll that is expensive w/one leg and no child playing with it. I guess, if I can't find someone to fix it, it will be a $100 doll in the trash. AND, my other daughter has the Zoey American doll, and the same thing is happening to that dolls leg. She is no longer playing with it for fear that she will loose the leg. Bottom line, I would not recommend this product to anyone, unless you are prepared for disappointment and not allow the child to play with it.

A doll for a lifetimeAug 05, 2008

This is one of the most beautiful dolls I have ever seen. She is so lifelike, truly beautiful. It's like having a short person to befriend. Plus, it is interactive on the computer. I have Gia, Zoe and Piper. Also, you can give to the children's charity of your choice when you receive the new doll. I highly recommend this doll for any child over 5. Suzanne siouxzsstuff

Karito Gia From Italy DollAug 06, 2009
By Muriel Carter What a beautiful doll! I can't say enough good about Gia! The doll is very well made from head to toe, and the clothes are well made and perfect for the doll! Gia has the most beautiful eyes! I have always loved the American Girl dolls, and now I am a fan of the Karito dolls! I am very pleased with my purchase! I don't think you would be disappointed with her, either!
