Handsome, simple, durable productFeb 17, 2009
By Robert Petkus Most folks buy products made by Plan Toys because they are 1) environmentally friendly (replenishable wood and vegetable dye paint) and 2) well crafted and durable. This kitchen set meets all expectations and is a nice addition to the doll house (we have the Plan Toys Victorian). Yes there are sets out there with exquisite detailing but I like it clean and simple.
Nice details are (2) fixed milk bottles in the fridge, and a free moving toaster (with toast) and kettle.
I was not too surprised to see this very kitchen set (as well as other Plan Toys rooms) at the Brooklyn Children's Museum in an architectural play area suffering constant abuse by a never-ending queue of hyper kids. All the pieces were intact.

Cute and CompleteAug 22, 2008
By M. Hertzler This sweet kitchen ensemble even comes with a tiny tea pot, wee toaster and teeny milk bottles in the fridge.
This is a wonderful set that can foster imaginative play at most ages. It is durable enough to withstand a rough 1.5 yr old tossing it about when his 4 yr old sister isn't looking.

Great kitchen set, wish oven door would stay closedJan 08, 2010
By R. Ericson Our daughter received her kitchen set as a gift this Christmas and just loves it! It is a great set. Only complaint is that the oven door rarely stays closed. It may just be our particular set. It doesn't bother our almost 3 year old daughter at this point in time. Would still recommend it!

nice quality and attractiveJan 11, 2009
By Carol Becks This is a good quality product. It is attractive to a wide variety of ages. The oven and cabinets open. It comes with a little toaster and a teapot. The fridge opens up to reveal door shelves and 2 bottles of milk. I am glad that I chose this kitchen for my grandaughter over the Ryans Room kitchen, which looked much more "bland."
