I bought this as my daughter's first Playmobil item yesterday. So far, it is a big hit!
Of course, she is only 2.5, so I suppose you could say this is more for me than her *grin*
I think it was a great choice, though-- so many options and choices in this one set! My daughter really does find it appealing, she sat with me to play with it for a full hour yesterday. There are so many different pieces to put on and take off and do things with, she just can't quite manipulate some of the smaller pieces. I can see these are going to be a big hit when she's a little older.
This particular item has a terrific value. And there's not much to say about the quality of Playmobil toys -- they're all great. Worth every penny. I marked it 4 stars for the durability, instead of 5, just because I think the sheer number of tiny pieces will make it difficult to keep up with all of them, but otherwise, it is a wonderful toy.

I bought this product just for the incredible ammount of accesories it comes with. I needed some extra weapons for my vikings and this sets gives me plenty of it. It has swords, axes, a very, very nice morningstar, armors, a bow and arrows, a crosbow, a knife, etc. Just for that its an excellent adition to any playmobil collection.
But even if you don't own any playmobil figures, this set will surprise you. Playmobil is known for its quality, and this is not exception; all the accesories and figures are very well done. The box is plastic with divitions and its also high quality. The amount of accesories makes this the ideal knight set. You can configure your figure as a knight, a warrior, an archer,.. any medieval guy you can think of!
I heartedly recommend this set both for playmobil fans or newbies.

If your kids are into the Playmobil fellows, the Carrying Case Kits are a must have. This kit includes one night and horse with numerous weapons, armor pieces, and accessories. It is a terrific value to replace all of those little pieces that get lost on all the other vikings and knights.

My kids are in LOVE with the Playmobil toys! They love to pretend with these more than they ever did with 'Little People'. I will say that there are LOTS of small parts in these playsets, but I don't actually mind since they have so much fun with them. The kids just turned 4 and just turned 7, and they are good about keeping the little pieces in the cases and have HOURS upon HOURS of play time with these.
