Great toy for developing different skills!May 05, 2004
We first learned about this puzzle when our son's speech therapist brought it over one day. He loved it so much we had to rush out to buy it! He started playing with it at 18 months and is now almost three and still loves it. During this time, he has played with it in so many different ways. First, he enjoyed playing peekaboo with it. Then, he progressed to knocking on the door and asking if anyone was home. He also finds it hysterical when you put the pieces in the wrong places. It's been a great tool for us to encourage his language development, not to mention that it's lots of fun too.

Attention-keeper for quiet timesNov 11, 2005
By Liesl Calado I bought this for my daughter for her first plane flight; she was 17 months old at the time and the flight was 5 hours long. I kept the puzzle hidden until we got on the plane, and she was immediately entranced. It held her attention and she could play with it while in her car seat, giving Mom and Dad a break. Two months later it's still a sure bet to hold her attention for a while.

Great Puzzle for Preschool ClassroomMay 25, 2005
By Sharon Preschool SDC Teacher I am a preschool teacher, and I bought this puzzle for my classroom. The kids just love it, and it is a great sorting game for my cognitive center. My kids are very hard on toys and it has withstood a lot of tough handling.

Amazing!Jan 04, 2005
By Legal Knitter Based on the recommendations from other reviewers, we bought this for our niece (20 mo.) She refuses to play with anything age appropriate, refuses to have anything to do with dolls, toys, or stuffed animals. But she LOVED this puzzle! I'm ordering another for my nephew for his birthday. Clearly a winner.

One of our favoritesSep 15, 2004
By Elizabeth C. Mcdonald My little one is 19 months old and we have had this toy since she was about 10 months old. She loves it and long ago memorized all the pieces' names and where they went. She is so interested in opening and shutting things but just about everything is too hard to open or close for a little baby. She loves the Knight especially and we find him all over the house. This is truly a favorite.
