I love these dolls, but they are actually a wee big for some of the furniture in the Plan Toys Chalet. My only real complaint is the clothing. My daughter tries to dress and undress them, which is not something I recommend. The little girl's skirt is so wide it falls down, so the shirt really keeps it on. However, the shirt is made out of such cheap material that the side seams ripped the first time my daughter took it off the doll. The belts were almost immediately pulled off and lost. My daughter is not really the destructive type. It seems natural that small children would try to dress and undress the dolls, but it really does destroy the clothing.

Very cute little doll family and arrived just as estimated in time for the birthday. We like these so much because we are fed up with the sleezy over-sexed gaudiness of most current dolls and these are NOT. However, the dolls and furniture were bought for another company's doll house and although all the doll house manufacturers/vendors, etc. say they are all designed to the same scale, I am not so sure that is the case. . .they fit just fine with the other Plan furniture we ordered but all seemed a bit larger than we expected. They were nonetheless perfect for the little fingers of my granddaughter.

These dolls are very cute and seem durable, and my 2 year old daughter loves them. However, these Plan Toy dollhouse dolls are too big for the Melissa & Doug dollhouse I bought Melissa & Doug Fold and Go Mini Dollhouse .

These dolls are simple in design and can easily bend to a sitting position. My grandchildren enjoy playing with them. The only drawback I have seen with the dolls are the small black cloth belts that come off easily and are too hard to put back on.

The pros: the dolls are wood, not plastic. They are brightly colored, adorable, and good innocent fun for kids. The arms and legs are made of stiff wire, so the dolls can be bent to sit down.
The cons: The yarn hair and small accessories like the belt buckles fall off pretty easily. I wish this came in a bigger variety of family colors and styles, to represent the variety of families existing in this country. OR the ability to buy one doll at a time and assemble your own family, rather than having to buy a pre-packaged stereotypical family. In other words, I hope PLAN expands their line of products!
