| | | Description: | | Two cyclists, bikes and some 'off-road' terrain come in this Playmobil Add-On set. Comes in plastic bags, not a retail box.
Addons are usually styles "leftover" from the production of larger, no-longer-produced Playmobil sets. Playmobil does not usually reproduce these Add-On items nor have they designed them as regular retail products. As such they are usually stocked and shipped in clear, plastic bags, and most often not in boxes. Quantities may be very limited and availability is subject to change. | | | Product Details: | | | Product Weight:

Dirt bikes VROOOOMFeb 18, 2012

When I received this the other day, I thought it was another case of the shipper using too big of a box for the item. That wasn't the case at all.
The dirt "ramp" that comes with the two bikes is HUGE. And not in a bad way at all. I thought we were going to get a little tiny platform for the bikes (since you never can tell from the pictures) and this isn't the case at all.
The attention to detail in the Playmobil products is always amazing and this one is no different. The bikes are great, the riders have on full gear bike riding outfits.
And my kids love them. We're talking hours of play here.
The problem is, though, like all Playmobile sets, there are tiny tiny parts. Now, I know the box says 4 and up, but I still think some of the tiny pieces are way too small for a 4 year old, not to mention easy to get lost.
We usually put all of the little pieces in a ziploc bag with the instruction manual for the set so nothing gets lost. The bummer is, in the bag is a set of handlebars for one of the dirt bikes because they snap off and on way too easily. It would be nice if they were just on the bike permanently. But really, that is my only complaint.
