5 year olds favorite toy!Jan 27, 2012
By K. Hodge My son loves this ambulance and hasn't gotten bored with it yet! It is a nice size (10 inches long), not too big that it takes up a ton of space and not too small that its hard to play with. I really appreciate that the siren is a quiet siren that is not at all obnoxious. My son loves the working lights and the doors that open at the back. The stretcher, IV machine and figurines are very cute accessories that spark a lot of creative play time. We also have the playmobil police car that we've had for about 2 years that he likes to play with this ambulance. The batteries in the police car (for the lights and sirens) lasted about 18 months (with a lot of play time), so I expect the ambulance to be the same. Love the durable fun toys that playmobil makes!

By yunli Can't really go wrong with playmobil but this set is among the best. Theme, size (number of pieces), price... Just perfect.

By abecede Perfect toy for lasting pleasure and educational value; will provide enduring playtime and if well-kept will gain value as all Playmobils always do.

By RN4IttyBits I think this is a much more realistic toy than any other brands like T0nka for an ambulance. I have a 4 year old that loves it. Yes, the parts do come off but they are designed to do that. There are some small pieces with this toy, but where else do you find an ambulance with back doors that REALISTICALLY open and a stretcher, IV pole,IV tubing and medicine bottle. My little guy enjoys realistic toys. On the plus side, the siren and lights are not annoying or deafening.
Falls apartDec 31, 2011

I was very excited about this toy. It looked really cool in the ad. Unfortunately, the doors constantly fall off. The little ambulance bed falls apart. Since the pieces are so small, they are always missing after they fall off. They snap back on easily enough if you can find them. Oh, and the siren pops off. They play with it for five minutes, and they come running to me to reattach everything. It's really a bummer. They have lost interest already. I have too since every time I turn around I need to fix it. What good is a toy if I can't sit down and just watch them play for a few minutes.
