My infant was intrigued with the spinning bears on this toy (which will spin for a long time if you keep pumping after initiating a spin). Now that she is 9 months old she can finally set the bears spinning herself. It's fun to watch her try to figure out why/how the bears started/are spinning and how to stop them (flipping the toy on its side).

I wasn't going to get this toy based on some of the other reviews I had read. I am determined not to have more than three toys that blink, beep or speak to my child. I am a teacher and see that children seem to have lost some of their creative thinking. Well I am very happy that I have this little toy. I love to watch my son now 11 months old push down on the handle and watch the bears go around. He enjoyed this toy even at a much younger age. Even when we would make the bears go. Take this for wa\hat it is worth, it is a nice quiet toy that provides kids with an outcome from their action.

BORING! My 11 month old daughter has no interest in this toy. She has yet to play with it. None of the other kids, from 5 months to 15 months, doesn't seem interested in this toy as well. The problems are the following:1. When you put it down on the floor to push the knob, you can't see the bears spinning.
2. The bears don't spin very long. They spin about 2 seconds and that's it.
3. There's no music or lights to keep the child's attention. With the shipping charges added on this toy wasn't cheap. I wish I had spent that money on some other toy for my daughter.
