My girlfriend first saw these at a local toy store while babysitting for her cousins and couldn't stop talking about them for the next two days. I knew I was going to get one for her eventually, but it wasn't until I logged onto Amazon that I found out they didn't just make little fun-sized ones, but mammoth TWO FOOT cuddle monsters! She had to have one.
Needless to say, when she unwrapped Ox on her birthday she squealed with joy and has happily reported that he's her new pillow and snuggle buddy whenever she's in her room. They are a little pricey, but have infinitely more character than Beanie Babies or some stuffed teddy bear. It's a great gift for just about anybody with that somewhat "tweaked" opinion of what's cute.

Bought this ugly doll at the airport for 2 year old to sleep in the airplane. It was a year ago and he does not like to sleep without ever since. He's not really playing with it, maybe because he's a boy, but whenever it's nap or bed time he'll be looking for it to cuddle before falling asleep on it. I'm not sure if you can machine wash because I removed the all tags, but I did wash machine it cold so many times and fluff it in the dryer. It still keeps its shape well until now. I'm looking to get another one for my newborn.

Ox was a great Christmas morning find, different from all of the electronic gaming stuff also under the tree. Fun to use as a pillow, quirky and comical to set on the bed---10 year old boy got a kick out of it.
