Babo is my fave uglydollMar 20, 2005
Babo is my fave uglydoll. His parents' are named Baba and Bobo. They got his name from the first syllable of his mom's name and the last syllable of his dad's name. (I made that up :) Anyway, I love Babo with all my heart. I find he is the squishiest uglydoll. Our Babo had 3 holes. Two on his arms and one on his leg. His insides are squishy. Babo is cute and cuddly. I highly reccomend him.

mischievous, but lotsa funDec 15, 2004
By seTclock I've been living with Babo for several months now and I can tell you that you will never want for excitement with him around. You'll come home after a long day at work or school and there will be cookie crumbs Everywhere! Have loose change in the sofa? He'll take care of that, noooo problem. Low-carb dieters beware because he'll use said change to buy more cookies and he loves sharing.
P.S. He loves having his tummy rubbed too.

Not Your Standard Stuffed AnimalJan 23, 2010
By Diane Mcgough My niece requested Ugly Doll Babo for her birthday. I had never heard of Ugly Dolls before and was stunned to come on here and see so many quirky, fun dolls in varying sizes and colors.
When Babo arrived, it was hard not to be smitten with him. His body is a gray fleece type material that is soft to the touch. He is stuffed full, but is still "squishy" and feels like a nice soft pillow. His eyes, mouth and teeth are sewn on, so no worries about anything falling off. Somehow his flat smile and two big teeth make him lovable at first sight. While I gave Babo away, I will definitely be buying another one for myself!
I have since learned that Ugly Dolls are all the rage at my niece's school. She says that everyone (even boys) likes them and collects them. If you are looking for something a little different and fun, why not an Ugly Doll? They are not your standard stuffed animals by any means.

One of my favorite Uglys!Sep 06, 2009
Babo and Puglee are my two FAVORITE Uglys. Babo is 14" tall and is VERY high quality. I sometimes use him as a pillow. What it says on his card is so nice (and funny): Babo will protect you. Having a bad day? Someone giving you a hard time? Babo's got your back. What Babo lacks in mind power, he makes up with love. He will stick with you till the end, and when something scary happens, he will send you a nice greeting card from wherever he runs away to. A very curious, mischievious (I don't think so) creature, Babo may need some guidence and parenting, so make sure to bring him with you to as many places as possible. Leaving him alone is fine, but please put all cookies and money on the highest shelf.
Isn't that nice?
