we love this doll - my 3 year old son has 2 ugly dolls which he loves and has had them since birth. My daughter is now 7 months and we bought her the first one for christmas - she loves it and my son loves that he and his sis have similar toys. they are not too girly and the kids love them.

Originally it was my Uglydoll collection... But then my daughters started sleeping apart and needed a cuddly toy to sleep with. So we gave them each an Ugly, and now they use them as pillows. They also play with their Uglies-- a versatile toy indeed! The material is bright and soft even after washing. We have several characters, all of which are cute, not ugly.

Love these guys. Got this one for my new niece and she loved it. Her mom loved it lots too. It's soft, relatively light, has no parts which can be swallowed/pointy/hard/etc. Definitely a good toy for a small child.
