I bought this as a gift and it has been quite severely loved... there's just something about loving and appreciating the "less stereotypically attractive" that resonates with me, and is a good lesson in appreciation of what's on the inside. It's just as huggable as any other toy.

I put the ugly dolls on the top of my grandsons Christmas stockings so all you can see was the tops of their funny heads. Went over big. They are adorable. Thank you
