Baby loves her giant bat!May 13, 2010

Uglydolls never disappoint!
Baby loves her bat which is nearly as big as she is! She is very attracted to the simple soft shape, big eyes and easy to grab wings.
The toy is simple but well made with no small part (contrary to what is stated in the description above).
She loves to drool over it and suck the little ears; it's so easy to throw in the washing machine that it's no problem at all. It comes out good as new.
It's still a bit big for my 4 month-old but I am sure she'll love her bat for a long while and it's going to be great to help keep (other) monsters at bay!
UPDATE 5/19/2011: "BatBat" has now made many trips into the washer and looks as good as the first day. She is still the favourite and indispensable sleep companion. This is a very good quality toy!

My baby brother who is three wanted an Ugly Doll very badly after fighting his six year old brother for his Ice Bat (Blue). So, he finally got it. You'd think that the Black Ice Bat wasn't just a stuffed toy, but an action figure as well. Not only does the bat bring fun as an animal, but apparently as a spaceship and plane as well!
The only problem we've had is finding it occasionally when it's on the black couch. Apparently it has a stealth mode that we didn't know about.
We know from experience that the Ugly Dolls are durable as far as play goes along with washing. We just throw them right in the washing machine and then in the dryer. Maybe fluff for a minute and then hand it right over.
I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone with a boy or girl!

My niece wanted a stuffed bat AND an UglyDoll for Christmas. I could not go wrong with this choice of her first UglyDoll.

My two year old loves this Ugly Doll. It is well made and the perfect size, not too big , not too small and flat so he travels well. It has been dragged all over the place and is wearing well.

I received this Ugly Doll as a present from my family and I LOVE it! I love every one of their products and I am NEVER disappointed in the quality or the uniqueness of it. I love the color and the size. I have bought Ugly Doll products for several of my friends. They all love it! Well worth the price! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!
The material feels like fleece - very soft. The pieces for the eyes and teeth feel like a regular cotton fabric. Note: The tags say hand washing or something similar but they are VERY durable. Just throw them on the top of whatever your washing and then throw it in the dryer.
Conclusion: A great gift for all ages. The "stuffed animal" is soft and durable. A perfect gift for those who love quirkym unique items. I have never had a problem.
