LEGO Star Wars AT-AT Walker 75288 Building Toy, 40th Anniversary Collectible Figure Set, Room Décor, Gift Idea for Kids, Boys & Girls with 6 Minifigures

The Empire's imposing warmachine in Lego form

I bought the set for display purposes and i wasn't disappointed - it looks meneacing on a shelf with it's nearly perfect movie accurate look. The building process took quite some time and can be challenging in a good way, but it's also interesting to see how it comes together in the end - especially when you start fitting the armor pieces.

Positives: the overall look, displayability, the additional weaponry (speeder and tri-pod gun) can perfectly fit in the AT-AT along with the Snowtroopers, serving as an actual transport.

Negatives: the AT-AT's head can't move up- and downwards, only sideways. There are some blue Technic parts showing on the final build which are really out of place compared to the "all-grey armor" look. It would've been nice to have one more Snowtrooper included with their iconic backpack...

A fantastic build and play experience!

This has to be the most detailed AT-AT LEGO has produced so far. All the minifigures got some nice updates (apart from Luke Skywalker as he is from the 20th anniversary snowspeeder) and the AT-AT is looking better than ever! A very detailed set with many play features for young children. The only problem that I faced with is a chipped piece but it wasn't a huge deal as it was hidden in head area.

That armour is too strong for blasters!!!

Once again Lego have knocked this out of the ball park. After buying the Millenium Falcon set and being slightly disapointed, Lego have really redeemed themselves with this. Must have for all Star Wars fans. Lots of features and as per my pictures makes a great piece to pretend to attack that infamous palace in Westminster haha ;)
